Silver Mexican Treasures provides high-purity, handcrafted silver and stone jewelry. Our products are meticulously created by women artisans in Taxco, Mexico, using traditional hand tools. By accessing our services, you acknowledge that our products are small-batch and one-of-a-kind, rather than mass-produced.

2. Handcrafted Nature and Product Authenticity

All of our pieces come directly from Taxco, Mexico, a town world-renowned for its silver craftsmanship. Each piece features a .925 stamp to indicate sterling silver authenticity—the highest purity for durable jewelry.

The founder, Alicia Belmont, was raised in Guadalajara in the world of jewelry, assisting in her father’s workshop from a young age. Today, Alicia is based in Kelowna, where she manages the remote collaboration with her family of artisans in Taxco. This heartfelt connection helps ensure that every design maintains the high handcrafting standards she learned as a child.

Our jewelers are members of the “Consejo Regulador de la Plata,” and our raw silver is laboratory-tested (NOM-033SCFI-1994) for elemental purity before crafting.

Every piece of jewelry is handmade by women artisans using traditional hand tools. Due to this artisan process, small variations in design, dimension, and color are normal and part of the unique beauty of your jewelry. These characteristics are not considered defects but are evidence of the unique, handcrafted nature of the jewelry.

3. Orders and Payment

By placing an order, you represent that all information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including cases of suspected fraud or pricing errors.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Timeline: Orders are typically processed and delivered within 7 to 10 business days. During peak seasons, delivery may take up to 15 business days.
  • Risk of Loss: While we hand off packages to trusted third-party carriers, we remain committed to your satisfaction. If a package is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to file a claim with the carrier and seek a fair resolution.
  • Eco-Friendly Packaging: In alignment with our commitment to sustainability, your order will be shipped using eco-friendly materials, such as biodegradable jute and seeded paper.

5. Consolidated Returns and Refunds Policy

To ensure consistency across our platforms, the following policy governs all returns:

  • Return Window: We accept returns for a refund or exchange within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • Condition: Items must be returned in perfect, saleable condition, unworn, and in their original packaging with all labels and the warranty certificate included.
  • Exclusions: We cannot accept returns or exchanges on custom-made pieces, engraved items, or discontinued "Last Chance" products.

  • Costs: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or was found to be defective upon receipt.
